CURRICULUM
Our program places a strong emphasis on Reading, Phonics, Spelling, Language, Mathematics, Science, Social Studies, Physical Education, Health, Art, Spanish, Computer, and Music.
Our 7th and 8th grades use the following curriculum in addition to the A BEKA language curriculum: Prentice Hall for History, Novels and Mosdos Press for Literature and McMillan for Algebra I.
The spiritual growth of each child is encouraged. We do this through Bible stories, weekly chapel, prayer times, and the guidance of our staff. Annually, Metuchen Christian Academy administers The Terranova Standardized Test to evaluate each student’s performance. Moreover, parents can access the Home Portal, through Information Now, during the Mid-marking periods and End of the Marking periods (approximately 9 weeks) to view their child’s grades.
